APL has entered into a partnership with Sustainia in order to integrate our social responsibility in the supply chain. The cooperation is a step in achieving the long-term goals developed in APL’s sustainability programs to meet requirements from customers and other stakeholders for products and services.
APL will encourage suppliers to cooperate in accordance with the requirements and guidelines contained in the Code. Monitoring is done through self-assessment documents and in some cases inspection of suppliers. The Code is designed to minimize risks in the social field and is based on ten principles set out in UN declarations basic (human rights, employee rights, environment and corruption). APLs's ambition is to show responsibility with sustainable business development.
