The work shall be instructive and result in constant improvements in performance, such as reduced risk and impact, reduced waste, increased precision in delivery and improved efficiency.

APL’s management system is built on a systematic of:

Plan – Implement – Follow up – Improve.

APL continuously analyzes its activities, products, and services to identify significant aspects drawn from the areas of quality, the environment, the working environment, and the social spheres. Detailed annual goals are determined by management drawn from our policies and these significant aspects. These are subsequently concretized in action plans.

Relevant consideration is made in all processes based on legal requirements, the significant aspects, and what the customers and other stakeholders require. The processes are supervised and performance is measured. The starting point is an all-encompassing, detailed goal, legal and other requirements, and customer requirements. Audits and continuous handling of deviations provide valuable information on shortcomings and areas for improvement – but also on what is working well. The results are compiled and analyzed. APL management regularly conducts management review of the system. Measures are determined and instituted to constantly improve the work and our performance.

APL is certified according to ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety). APL annually undergoes external review with regard to the above-named standards.
