We employ formulation scientists and analytical chemists with special competence, who develop most types of dosage forms. Our development services are carried out in close cooperation with our customers. 

Formulation development

Formulation and manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical dosage forms and other care-related products are being developed. We provide an appropriate preparation, with customer needs and suggestions serving as our starting point.  

We offer preformulation such as physical chemical characterisation, studies on solubility and compatibility, suggestions on composition and preliminary stability studies. 

We develop and validate physical chemical analysis methods that are used for characterisation of products and for stability studies.  

This means that we initiate and carry out extensive stability studies after the final product has been completed, in accordance with ICH guidelines. 

Scale up

During the development of manufacturing processes we focus on the critical process parameters, such as mixture and homogenisation.  

We carry out tests for scale up and validation of the manufacturing processes in collaboration with the production units. We work with most types of dosage forms for the different types of administration.

All development is documented by the APL, and we produce chemical pharmaceutical registration documents on request.
